Belgian Tripels are known the world over. Known for their higher alcoholic content and their lack of bitterness – which in turn is often equated with sweetness – tripels were traditionally brewed by monks in monasteries. There are no monks at De La Senne, however, just very experimental and awesome brewers that wanted to brew the most bitter tripel in Belgium (it’s still not that bitter, just tastes awesome).
