Babylone
€2.50
Babylone takes you back in time on a modern road. This bitter ale is brewed with bread as the ancient Egyptians did, but then with modern, fragrant hops from the US. Babylone became famous when celebrity chef Jamie Oliver used it in one of his recipes for a TV show, cooking up a mean stew. Interestingly enough, Babylone is brewed using recycled bread from the Brussels city area. What the supermarkets don’t sell, is bought by the brewery, moistened, and turned into beer! This is real bitter, sustainable beer!
